  1. As I said before, I wished to know your language… Especially when it is a poem… This morning I have a time and I tried to get help from Google translator, and I learned that this was a poem written in Tamil language. And my journey started then…”Tamil is one of the longest surviving classical languages in the world”. and also ” Tamil literature has existed for over 2000 years.” This is amazing… I really wish to learn more… I haven’t known before.

And another reality is what Robert Frost said “Poetry is what gets lost in translation.” But even it was a translation what I tried to read and understand, took me in a blue rain and a mother who was looking for her son. It was so touching…

Thank you, with my love, nia

    1. Wow…..I am surprised to see your immense interest in languages! And let me tell you what I actually meant in my poem though your interpretation is quite interesting. Here is the translation :

When I was enjoying the rain, this thought came to me – Maybe the sky missed its love life with the seas, and thus missed her and cried. And these tears are raindrops.

Thank you for showing so much interest in Tamil language! And this has given me an idea to henceforth include a translation beneath each poem 🙂
